I volunteered at registration and during morning sessions and was able to attend interesting talks on OSM data in Wikipedia, the Red Cross presentation on OSM in disaster response and developing a GIS curriculum in higher education. Who took time to explain the physics of satellite imagery and kept us entertained while we waited for our not-so-closeup.

NYCDH Week A Celebration of DH in the City

Countdown to NYCDH Week! DHWeek is a celebration of the Digital Humanities in New York City and features networking sessions, a DH community meeting, open workshops offered across the city, and social events. This year DHWeek will be held from February 6-10. And we are excited to offer another amazing year of workshops and talks for all skill levels. To start off the festivities, there will be a kick off event. And meeting of the DH community on Monday , February 6th.
